Past projects

   Bellevue Hospital, New York, NY
“The Bridge Lounge”, 1984

SiteImages’ photo mural in the Bellevue Hospital in New York City was a ground-breaking installation, sponsored by Ilford. This was one the first cibachrome archivally-sound photo murals to be displayed in a public place.
SiteImages believes that images have the power to heal, to transform people, and to transform energy. Because of this, SiteImages, with the help of a psychologist, decided on bridges as an inspiring image for the patients at Bellevue. “The Bridge Lounge” depicts two of New York City’s bridges—the Queensboro Bridge and the Brooklyn Bridge.

Pennsylvania Station, New York City, NY
“Four Directions,” 1985

This 52-foot photo mural depicts the view of each of the four cardinal directions from the roof top of Pennsylvania Station. The photo mural was sponsored by the MTA Arts for Transit Program. As with the Bellevue Hospital project, SiteImages aims to transform the community by making art accessible and relatable.

Mobile Infirmary Medical Clinic, Mobile, Alabama
“Twilight Interlude,” 1995

This two-year project, “Twilight Interlude,” at the Mobile Infirmary was the premiere exhibition of glass photo tiles.  This image depicts the port of Mobile at twilight, and as a port serves its community economically, the hospital serves its community by lending health, hope, and peace of mind to its patients.
